Kristie
With over 30 years of experience as a veterinary technician, Kristie is a true animal care veteran — and we’ve been lucky to have her at Mallard Point Veterinary Clinic since 2013! Kristie also holds a degree in the fine arts; she’s a secret artist at heart. At home, she’s got two loyal co-pilots—Chevelle and Nova—rescued bully breeds named after her favorite muscle cars! Kristie’s hobbies outside of work are a mix of horsepower and petal power—she’s either cruising through car shows, tending to her garden like it’s a masterpiece, or getting lost in the great outdoors. Kristie's not just a green thumb—she’s a full-blown plant whisperer. A proud ‘crazy plant lady,’ she’s especially obsessed with growing heirloom tomatoes and just about every veggie under the sun. If it’s got wheels, leaves, or fresh air, she’s all in!
Her playlist is a time machine—think big hair, boombox beats, and guitar solos. From 80s classics to old-school rap and rock, Kristie's got a soft spot for the throwbacks, but can tolerate any type of music!
A fun fact about Kristie is that her love for nature runs so deep, she’s turned half an acre of her property into a green paradise—where veggies thrive, flowers bloom, and the garden gnomes probably have their own HOA. It’s not just a backyard... it’s her personal Eden!
One food that she cannot live without is spinach stuffed pizza—because who can resist that perfect mix of cheesy goodness and leafy green magic? But don’t let that fool you; Kristie is always game to try new veggie varieties, turning her kitchen into an experimental garden of flavors!
